Career Perspective
Learning outcomes:
Graduate will conduct the full cycle of research in public health data, from project design to health data analysis and competent presentation of results. They will have multidisciplinary skills in epidemiology, informatics and statistics. They will understand the strengths and limitations of digital technologies and approaches in public health.
Employability and career routes:
Students may pursue the Master of Science as their terminal degree followed by a career in industry or the public sector. Alternatively, they may use this programme as a stepping-stone towards a doctoral degree. Typical career include researchers or engineers in academic and private research teams, technicians in medical enterprises, start-ups, or contract research organizations (CRO), consultants or digital health specialists in industry or government ministries and agencies.
