National survey on thesis extension
In order to exhaustively measure the impact of containment on current thesis, a national survey is conducted among doctoral students.
The survey proposes three "critical cases", with examples, justifying short (up to 4 months), medium (4 to 8 months) and long (8 to 12 months) extensions.
We draw your attention to the fact that the duration of the requested extension must be strictly determined according to the impact of the health crisis on the research that could not be conducted.
To enable institutions and doctoral schools to take all situations into consideration, this survey is submitted to all doctoral students, whatever their profile (discipline, year of thesis, funding dedicated to the doctorate or not). Requests for extensions will be reviewed by the thesis and research unit supervisors and then arbitrate by the doctoral schools and the institutions.
Arbitrations will be carried out in the coming months.
The survey is available from your Personal space ADUM in the "Procedure" area and is to complete before June 30th.
